Blueberries!

While Garrett's parents were visiting us in May, we were trying to come up with lots of activities to do with them that they haven't done in NOLA before. We have been lucky to have them visit us several times in the last 5 years since we moved here, and that also means that some of the tourist type things have been done quite a few times now. But it so happened that blueberries were prime for picking in May while they were here. So we headed to Franklinton to pick our freezer full. It was a great day!

Sam was doing his best to promote Rockford Service Center, here in Louisiana. :)
(this picture was taken at the very end of our day as we headed back to the car...posted out of order and I'm too lazy too change it!)

And just like in years past, the boys ate more berries than they put in their baskets. I think they were pretty set on their antioxidants for a while! :)

A wonderful day, and always wonderful to have family come along with us on our adventures!
